Tech Primer is partnering OMC Boces in Liverpool NY to create and deliver some new and interesting technical classes. By trade, I am an Automation and Electrical Controls Engineer with 30 years of engineering experience. Like the cartoon here on the right, a Controls Engineer usually needs to know a little bit about a lot of different subjects to get things done.
I am self-taught in a several technical subjects. My first computer needed the operating system loaded from floppy disks, which shows I've been around for a while. I have personal interest in subjects such as Front and Back End Web Development, CAD systems and software, 3D printing, FPV drones, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Linux and general Cybersecurity.
If you have a curious nature, just go out and learn some new skills. You never know what might come in handy.
